Students from the Armenian Sisters Academy (Radnor, PA), Marple Newtown Senior High School, and Penn State University helped volunteered with Turkey Taxi. On Wednesday, 11/22/23, nearly 40 volunteers assembled bags filled with bottled water, granola bars, wool hats, gloves, socks, and scarves, dental kits, hand wipes, lip balm, and tissues. On Thanksgiving morning, we drove into Center City to distribute the packages to a homeless shelter and to the homeless living on the streets.
